Changes to Level 2, 3 & 4 Award Process
Intent to Apply deadline moved to May 15, Organizational Profile NOT required with Intent form
The "Intent to Apply" step of the TNCPE application allows us to determine each applicant's eligibility and estimate the size of our examiner pool. In order to do this more efficiently, we're making a couple of changes that you should know about.
Earlier Intent to Apply Deadline
First, in order to balance our applicant/examiner ratio, we're moving up the intent to apply deadline to May 15, 2017. This will help us to determine how many applicants we will have before we accept examiners. Next year, the intent deadline will move up once more to April 15, 2018, and remain in mid-April going forward.
Because the intent deadline is now earlier, we will no longer require a complete Organizational Profile with the intent form. Level 2, 3, and 4 Organizational Profiles will be submitted with the full Criteria Response on July 17. As a result, the new Intent to Apply form is longer, as it includes additional questions to help us determine eligibility. See a sneak peak of the new Intent to Apply Form here.
Level 1 Changes
Since we accept Level 1 applications throughout the year, the Intent to Apply form is not required for these applicants. However, we will no longer accept the simplified organizational profile, and all Level 1 applicants must include the complete Organizational Profile found in the first few pages of the Criteria for Performance Excellence.
