A state of excellence…isn’t it where we all want to be in our lives and in our organizations?   This February, we invite you to join the growing list of national and regional organizations that have achieved improved patient outcomes, economic competitiveness and higher student achievement at the 2012 Excellence in Tennessee Conference.

Learn best practices from role-model organizations in the health care, manufacturing, nonprofit, government, education and service sectors. The tools and training you will receive at the Conference will help elevate your performance and increase your organization’s productivity. 

Building a State of Excellence is presented by the non-profit Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence, the region’s premier Baldrige-based performance improvement organization.

Balanced Scorecard & LEAN

Keynote speakers include 2010 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipients Freese and Nichols, Inc. and Montgomery County (Maryland) Public Schools.

A limited number of rooms at the conference rate are available until Jan. 31. The Marriott is also offering a government employee rate for the conference. Valid government ID required.

Tuesday, February 21st will feature full-day, hands-on workshops. Topics include:

  • Introduction to the Criteria
  • Advanced Application Workshop
  • Balanced Scorecard/LEAN

Excellence in Tennessee Awards Banquet

Banquet reception: 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Dinner & Awards: 6:30 - 9 p.m.

The Excellence in Tennessee Awards Banquet is a gala event where individuals and organizations are recognized for their achievements in the pursuit of organizational excellence.

Honorees
More than 30 organizations will be recognized at Banquet.

In addition, the 2012 Ned R. McWherter Leadership and Champion of Excellence Awards will be presented.

Cost
Banquet seats are $95 if you register by February 6, $105 if you register from Feb 7-Feb 21.

Banquet Table Sponsorships are available for $1,200.

If you plan to attend the conference, the banquet is included in the price of Packages A & B
